I am interested in the type of oil you are using. My local motorcycle shop tells me that Triumph endorses Mobile 1, but the Mobile one that this shop sells is the same as the regular automobile type. I have found 4 stroke motorcycle Mobile 1 at Walmart for about $8 a quart. It is of two varieties; 20/50 for "V" twins and 10/40 for other motorcycles. I have used the 20/50 in my savage and experienced clutch slippage. I now use the 10/40 all year round and I am very much pleased with it.
Three quarts would cost $24. What did you pay? $45 for the oil, or was service included??
